Estate Planning & Life Planning

Estate Planning is Life Planning. It is about taking control of your own life. It allows YOU to make decisions about your long-term care and end-of-life issues –– instead of giving full authority to a judge, the government, or a court-appointed representative. It relieves the burden on your loved ones, ensures that your desires and directives are heard, and helps preserve and protect your assets.

It provides peace of mind.

It's about more than what happens after you're gone –– it's also about what happens if you become dependent on others to make decisions for you, such as in the event of a catastrophic accident, a stroke, dementia, or other circumstance.

We can design a plan that is right for you. After litigating trusts and estates for over 10 years, we have the experience to help do things right to minimize future disputes and maximize your opportunity to take control.

Guardianships & Conservatorships

Children
Adults with Special Needs
Children with Special Needs Becoming Adults
Senior Adults with Advanced Impairment

A guardianship provides a guardian with legal authority over persons who are not able to fully care for themselves. For example, this can be a child who is not your own. It could be your special-needs child who is turning 18 and thereby becoming a legal adult. It could be a parent with Alzheimer's Disease. A conservatorship is similar, providing the legal authority over another persons' finances and assets.

We applaud and respect those who take on this responsibility. And we will help you navigate this road to help you help someone else.
